About
IFIM’s approach is comprehensive, combining scientific research and functional and integrative healing modalities to increase health, vitality, and beauty- which comes from within.
Megan Perry, PA-C
Megan is a NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant who started her career in primary care, emergency medicine, and urgent care. She discovered Functional and Integrative Medicine during health struggles of family members and of her own. She became a mentee in the space when living in Hawaii with her husband and white German Shepard, Chowder.
Her true passion lies with determining the root cause of symptoms, rather than continuously prescribing medication on top of medication to mask these symptoms. She thrives in creating personalized medical care.
She recognized the crucial need for Functional Medicine in Rhode Island, along with a specialized focus in perimenopause & menopause as she believes these patients are lacking care in Western Medicine. She integrates these healing modalities with Western Medicine.
Megan is a strong advocate of empowering her patients and believes that true health and vitality encompasses the mind, body and spirit.
Megan holds degrees from Springfield College and continued her studies through The Institute of Functional Medicine. You can read some of her Functional and Integrative Medicine articles here.
